Hugh Jackman San Francisco | Curran Theatre

Hunky Aussie actor Hugh Jackman, who may be best known to many for his work in pop flicks like the “X-Men” movie franchise, “Van Helsing” and the romantic comedy “Kate and Leopold”, has in fact some serious theatre acting credits under his belt, and he is set to stun audiences with his spectacular theatrical abilities and talents in his upcoming one-man show to be staged at the Curran Theatre this spring entitled “Hugh Jackman in Performance”, playing from May 3 to 15, 2011.
While Jackman is known to many as the sexiest and most gorgeous actor to have ever portrayed Marvel’s Wolverine, the Australian talent is juggling Broadway appearances – some of which have earned him critical acclaim such as the 2004 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his work in “The Boy from Oz” – and hosting gigs, among which are his highly raved work at the 81st Academy Awards in 2009 and his Emmy nominated hosting job at the 2005 Tony Awards, which in fact, was the third consecutive time for him to host the said event.
