Diner San Francisco | Curran Theatre
This fall, San Francisco welcomes a new musical from Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow, Academy Award winner Barry Levinson of ‘Rain Man’ fame, and Tony winner and Broadway veteran Kathleen Marshall. This is ‘Diner’, dishing out its world premiere at the Curran Theatre from October 23 to November 18, 2012.
‘Diner’ follows the lives of six friends who always come by the Baltimore diner nearby since high school. With the ‘60s looming in and a whole new decade and generation of the hippie lifestyle, cultural and sexual revolution and the civil rights movement dawning upon them, the gang returns to their favorite spot in town years after they left high school, to reminisce on the good old days and reflect on how the realities and responsibilities of adulthood and the fast changing times of the forthcoming era might and could affect their lives.
Show times for ‘Diner’ are at 8 PM from Tuesdays to Saturdays with matinee performances at 2 PM every Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
