According to the New York Times, the Blue Man Group is “one of the most delightful performance pieces ever staged.” And it certainly is one delightful performance as they are able to transcend through the conventional medium of theatrical entertainment without saying a word or singing one note.

Catch the black-clad voiceless, hairless, and earless “Blue Men” as they perform their comedic antics and musical performances using multimedia, visual effects and a variety of musical instruments ranging from drums to air poles to pipes and tubes to strings while adapting famous songs and scores from movies and TV shows and leave everyone in an ecstatic state of bliss and awe. It is for this same reason that USA Today calls the production an “absolutely ecstatic experience”.

This fall, the Blue Man Group will be embarking on a 28-city national tour kicking off with a limited run at the Walton Arts Center in Fayettville, AR from September 2 to 11. One of the highlights of the upcoming national tour is a Yuletide and New Years Day performance – perfect for the entire family – in Philadelphia from December 22 till January 2, 2011. The tour will conclude late in the spring with a limited engagement in San Francisco’s Golden State Theater from May 21 to June 19, 2011.
